Check Eligibility →If you’re like us, no one ever sat you down and taught you how to do marriage. There was no class for it in school. No lesson on how to communicate in ways your spouse truly understands. You never learned how to break negative cycles and prevent small issues from becoming big ones. You were simply handed a marriage certificate and wished good luck.
That’s exactly why we’re here.
We give you real skills and coach you along the way. Focus on Relationships is free, in person, and built alongside neighbors who get it. Come as you are.
What You’ll Learn
We keep the science real and the delivery simple. You’ll leave with skills you actually use, whether you’re a busy couple who wants more time together, a strong couple who wants to grow even stronger, or a struggling couple who needs fresh tools and hope.
Say what you mean so that your thoughts and feelings can be recognized and understood without causing your spouse to feel defensive, overwhelmed, manipulated or inadequate.
Catch the pattern early, before a small spark turns into a blowup. Constructively resolve issues at hand and feel closer to your spouse through the process.
Disagree without the damage. Accept and express anger without destroying love. Real tools for the hard conversations.
Simple habits that rebuild closeness, even on your busiest weeks. Feel genuine empathy for your partner instead of secret resentment.
When your relationship gets stronger, everything downstream gets stronger too — your health, your home, your kids, your work.
Twelve hours. One relationship. A whole life that feels steadier.
Long shifts, hard days, and the weight you carry home. None of it makes you weak, but it does put real strain on the people you love most. A strong relationship is one of the best buffers against that stress, and the skills to build one can be learned.
We give you practical, proven tools for communication, conflict, and connection. Tools that ripple out into healthier, happier, more stable lives for you, your spouse, and your kids.
Marriage is linked to roughly a 35% lower risk of early death and the benefit is strongest for men.
Young married couples build up to nine times the wealth of their single peers.
Married people have roughly 58% lower suicide risk which is less than half the suicide rate of divorced or separated individuals.
Children in single-parent households are about five times more likely to live in poverty than children in married-couple families.
You can be the difference.
Show up. Learn the skills. The marriage you fight for becomes the foundation your family stands on.

Workshop detailsThe Adventure
You show up honest, we give you the playbook, you go home with tools you’ll actually use. Here’s what to expect from the moment you reach out.
Tell us a little about yourself. We follow up within two business days to confirm you qualify and answer any questions. No pressure, no script.
We cover eligibility, schedule, childcare needs, transportation, and anything you’re wondering about.
We’ll reach out for a one-time orientation. Meet your Lead Facilitator, finish your paperwork, and get matched into a cohort that fits your work and family schedule.
In person or over the phone. Your choice. Plan about 30 minutes.
Twelve hours of the Adventures in Marriage curriculum, in person, in a small group with people who get the demands on your life. Sessions run 2 to 3 hours each over four to six weeks.
Free childcare and free meals every session. Gas or ride share available if transportation is a barrier.
Skills Coaches walk with you between sessions. They help with makeup work if life happens. They stay connected after the workshop ends so the skills don’t fade once graduation is over.
Referrals to community partners are part of the program if you need more than a curriculum can give or just want to keep growing.
Celebrate completion at a real graduation ceremony with your cohort. Take home a date-night package with gift cards, program swag, and a referral card to share with another couple who needs this.
Then join the alumni community. Come back as a Skills Coach for newer couples whenever you’re ready.
